A Site Investigation is conducted through a process of data collection and analysis, which includes sampling and laboratory testing of soil, soil vapour, groundwater, air, and surface water.
The results of the analysis are used to identify potential sources of contamination, assess the risks associated with contamination and provide possible solutions for addressing any contamination. This information helps to inform decisions about how to design, operate and maintain the site in a manner that is protective of human health and the environment.
