The Environmental Earth Sciences Queensland team is growing and are looking for a self-starter who wants a diverse and fulfilling career in contaminated land management.

We are a business committed to developing the next generation of environmental leaders. Starting with preliminary site investigations and landfill monitoring projects, you will get the opportunity to be involved in projects through the whole project lifecycle. This starts at business development, proposal writing, field work, laboratory and data management, reporting all the way to client management. We are a team-based business so you will be backed up with hands-on support from our senior staff ranging from scientists, engineers, and contaminated land auditors.

Our juniors are empowered to drive their own careers and take on leadership positions within the company. You will be a self-starter with the initiative to deliver high quality work. We have a structured training program that will take you in all areas of the business. This will set you up well for industry accreditations as you progress through your career. Our reputation for strong graduates come from our dedication to training and development. There is no such thing as pigeonholing here at Environmental Earth Sciences.

We have great office-based initiatives including end of trip facilities, regular team events, training on our on-site groundwater bore, ad hoc office dog etc.

Our graduate exchange program will allow you to be travel to other offices and gain exposure with other business and technical leaders.

Requirements

• Brisbane-based

• Australian residency and Australian Drivers License

• Willing to undertake field work, which may involve travel within Australia

• Hold a degree or post graduate qualification in geology, soil science, hydrogeology, environmental science, agricultural science or a related discipline.
