EESI Group Celebrates 40 Years of Fixing Degraded Land

[Melbourne, 27th August 2024] — The Environmental Earth Sciences International (EESI) Group; an Australian consulting firm specialising in providing comprehensive solutions to assess, remediate, and repair degraded land, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week. Since its founding in 1984, the group has been pioneering innovative solutions to global soil and groundwater contamination and remediation challenges.

The science–led business has significantly influenced the industry with its publications on acid sulfate soil identification, landfill leachate monitoring, and bioremediation of hydrocarbon-contaminated soil, and has pioneered several methodologies that have become industry standards in the environmental remediation sector.
