The Role
To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have an environmental science/geology/soils/engineer/hydrogeology qualification and you should have at least 5+ years’ experience as a Contaminated Land Consultant.
You will be enthusiastic to undertake the following duties:
- Initiate and contribute to the preparation of project fee proposals and tenders;
- Nurture and grow your client network;
- Equipment care & maintenance;
- Provide both project management and technical expertise for Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSI)/remediation project planning and implementation;
- Soil, vapor and groundwater monitoring;
- Data compilation and interpretation report writing on a variety of projects; and
- Inter and intra-state travel.
What you’ll offer us
- Direct experience (5+ years) in contaminated land assessment and/or remediation;
- Capacity to work across range of land and groundwater projects in varied settings (urban renewal, infrastructure, government, Defence, resources);
- A working knowledge of NEPM 2013, waste regulations, and have had experience to asbestos & hazardous materials assessments;
- Strong technical background and be passionate about training junior staff;
- Excellent verbal and written skills;
- Safety focused;
- Have an Australia manual Driver’s license; and
- Permanent resident or citizen of Australia.
