The Role

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate will have an environmental science/geology/soils/engineer/hydrogeology qualification and you should have at least 5+ years’ experience as a Contaminated Land Consultant. 

You will be enthusiastic to undertake the following duties: 

• Initiate and contribute to the preparation of project fee proposals and tenders;
• Nurture and grow your client network;
• Equipment care & maintenance;
• Provide both project management and technical expertise for Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI) and Detailed Site Investigations (DSI)/remediation project planning and implementation;
• Soil, vapor and groundwater monitoring;
• Data compilation and interpretation report writing on a variety of projects; and
• Inter and intra-state travel.

What you’ll offer us

• Direct experience (5+ years) in contaminated land assessment and/or remediation;
• Capacity to work across range of land and groundwater projects in varied settings (urban renewal, infrastructure, government, Defence, resources);
• A working knowledge of NEPM 2013, waste regulations, and have had experience to asbestos & hazardous materials assessments;
• Strong technical background and be passionate about training junior staff;
• Excellent verbal and written skills;
• Safety focused;
• Have an Australia manual Driver’s license; and
• Permanent resident or citizen of Australia.
